Star 5  Cattle

Our first  Star Five heifer, Miss FJL May Day at one year of age is at 800 lbs.  She was bred at 15 months of age to LTL Peyton in August.  She has passed over and we look for her calf to arrive in May 2010.  All of our Star 5 cattle (Lowline x Santa Gertrudis) have reached 490-520 lbs weaning weights.
EZ Tillie 78T

Tillie continues her show career at the Houston Livestock Show in 2010.  She will be the first heifer to be shown in the Cow/Calf class.  Tillie delivered a beautiful heifer by LTL Peyton on 9/18/09.  She is a stricking calf.  She will be shown in her own class at HLSR.

Flying J&L Angelica JL03

Angelica delivered a bull calf by PS Gunner 118/6, 2008 National Santa Gertrudis Champion Yearling Bull.  This young bull calf turned the heads of all who saw him at Houston Livestock Show.  Heads turned regardless of the breed one likes.   We received more compliments on him then we could count.  He is For Sale.  Destined to be a show bull!
Mr. FJL Diablo
(BR Bruzer 3S x PX 20L)

Our most promising bull calf of our Spring Lowline calves.  He is thick, correct and flashy!  Diablo is a fine example of the 1/2 blood Lowlines.  He has two lines to Lowline Angus and two female lines to Shorthorn/Maine & Gelbvieh.  Great bloodlines to the Great Quartermaster, Br Absolut & Admiral.  This young calf is on track to wean at 50% PLUS of his mother's weight, 1050lbs with a body condition score of 8!  At 76 days of age he weighed in at 233 lbs.  He is for sale and is guaranteed as a heifer bull.  See him at 2010 HLSR!
Flying J&L Hosts our First Field Day in September '09

Our first field day was a smashing success!  We enjoyed hosting about 40 people from SLABA & the Limestone County area.  See our Field Day Page.  Don't miss the next one!
